The secure 300,000 sq. ft site has virtually dust free Manufacturing Facilities, assembly and storage facility and further large packaging warehouse.
Site Overview
Our busy site has a speed limit of 10mph with plenty of onsite staff and visitor parking. There are plenty of HGV’s coming and going throughout the day, we also operate a wide range of forklift trucks and other motorised equipment. We have a staff canteen with vending facilities, locker room and both indoor and outdoor seating areas.
Investment & Improvement
Our manufacturing facilities have benefitted from modernisation and investment into sustainability projects, such as Solar PV, Bio Mass boiler and efficient extraction systems. Today we have modern manufacturing facilities and covered storage/loading to ensure all our wood from raw materials to finished products are all kept in the best condition.

Timber arrives at one end of the site and leaves as pallets, crates and cases at the other, and everything in between happens under our own roof. Sawn softwood, sheet material and composite blocks are stored under cover so they go into production dry. The saw shop cuts to the job sheet. Assembly bays build pallets and crates, with the riveting line for plywood cases alongside. Finished goods move to the kilns for heat treatment or drying where the order needs it, then to covered dispatch bays where our own lorries load.
The packaging warehouse holds the consumables side of the business: stretch wrap, strapping, tape, cardboard, foam and void fill, so a customer who wants everything on one delivery gets it from one place.
Customers are welcome to visit by appointment, and suppliers deliver Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00. The site speed limit is 10 mph, forklifts have priority in the yard, and visitors sign in at the office. If you are bringing pallets back for collection and recycling, tell us in advance so a bay is ready. The site is a short run from the A39 at Bideford, about ten miles from Barnstaple and the A361 link road to the M5.
