We have a range of advanced nailing machines and equipment which provide automated quick and efficient solutions to making pallets. These ensure accuracy and precision when producing multiple items at more economical rates which our customers can benefit from.
We use pneumatic precision nail guns to make a wide variety pallets and crates. Our skilled team are trained to safely use and operate the equipment, whilst ensuring quality is constantly maintained.
Two pallets can be cut from the same timber to the same drawing and carry very different loads, and the difference is almost always the fastening. The nail pattern, the nail itself and how consistently it is driven set how the deck boards, bearers and blocks act as one structure rather than a stack of parts. That is why we treat nailing as engineering rather than assembly.
Consistency is the practical result. A pallet built to a nailing specification behaves the same every time, which is what lets us state a safe working load for a bespoke design and stand behind it. It is also what makes a repeat order match the last one, and what keeps boards on a pallet through a forklift knock or a drop off a tail lift. For export packaging, sound nailing is part of what ISPM 15 inspectors look at: a crate with loose or missing fixings invites a closer look at everything else.
If you have a pallet that keeps failing, send us one. Nine times out of ten the fix is in the fastening, not the timber.
