Quality is important to us and we monitor and check all of our work continuously to ensure we meet the highest standards. We are certificated and operate to 3 different ISO standards which is core to how we function ensuring high standards right across the business.
Quality Training – Built In
Training and quality are an integral part of our business, our team work to precise specifications, are trained and supported to operate to our own high standards. We have controls over the entire supply chain and take pride in delivery our products in the best condition with our own distribution team.
ISO 9001 is a globally recognised standard for quality management. It helps organisations of all sizes and sectors to improve their performance, meet customer expectations and demonstrate their commitment to quality. Its requirements define how to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve a quality management system (QMS).
ISO 14001 is an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for an environmental management system. It helps organisations improve their environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste, gaining a competitive advantage and the trust of stakeholders.
ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable organisations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance.
Our cutting edge equipment and techniques set us apart from competitors, providing you with unrivalled top standard products.
We have an experienced and skilled work force, many have been part of our journey for many years and we recognise and value our team.
We are committed to the best environmental and sustainable practices in all aspect of our business activities.
Certificates on a wall are only worth what happens on the floor. This is what our management system does for an order.
Every product has a job sheet: cutting list, nail pattern, target sizes and the special instructions from your drawing. The floor builds to the sheet, not from memory.
Optimising saws and CNC cut components from the sheet, so the parts that reach assembly are already to size. Fewer hand cuts means fewer variances.
Supervisors check first-offs against the sheet and sample during the run. Sizes, nailing and heat treatment marks are signed off before dispatch.
Every ISPM 15 kiln charge is logged with probe temperatures and times. A pallet can be traced to its charge if a customer or inspector asks.
FSC chain of custody, licence FSC-C226009, so certified material stays segregated and the claim on your invoice is one we can evidence.
A documented non-conformance and corrective action process. If a delivery is wrong we record it, fix it and change what caused it, and we can share the report.
Manufacturing customers in automotive, defence and industrial equipment often need more than a certificate. We support supplier approval questionnaires, PPAP-style part submission packs with drawings, bills of material, process flow and inspection plans, first-article samples, and packaging specifications written to your template. Weights and dimensions are supplied for packaging data returns, and we hold declarations for heavy metals and REACH on request.
Environmental and safety systems are audited alongside quality. ISO 14001 covers waste segregation on site, process wood waste to our biomass boilers, solar generation and an all-electric forklift fleet. ISO 45001 covers the site rules that keep drivers, visitors and our own people safe in a yard with HGVs and forklifts moving all day.
