Contract Packing and Assembly

Kitting, sub-assembly, metalwork assembly, packing and palletising, done to your work instruction at our factory in Bideford, Devon, and delivered across the UK.

Last reviewed 31 October 2026

Contract packing is a large part of what we do every week. Customers send us their parts and products, and we assemble them, pack them in packaging we make ourselves, palletise and label them, and deliver them to their line, their warehouse or their customer. Because the crates, pallets, inserts and corner packs are made on the same site, there is no second supplier in the chain and changes happen quickly. All of it runs under our ISO 9001 system, with written work instructions and checks at each stage.

How a job runs

  1. We look at the job: the parts, the drawing or a sample, the volumes and where it is going.
  2. We write the work instruction with you: the build sequence, the packaging, the checks and the pallet pattern.
  3. We run a first batch for you to sign off before it goes into regular production.
  4. We build to your schedule: weekly, daily, or called off as you need it.
  5. We deliver on our own lorries across the South West, and by carrier to the rest of the UK.

Contract packing questions

What is contract packing?

It is when another company packs, assembles or kits your products for you, to your specification. You send the parts or goods; they come back packed, labelled and ready to sell or ship.

Can you pack our own products?

Yes. Send them to Bideford and we pack them in packaging we design and build here, then deliver them where you need them.

Do you do assembly as well as packing?

Yes. We do kitting and sub-assembly, including metalwork assembly to your drawing: brackets, frames, fixings and fittings.

Can you store stock and send it out on call-off?

Yes. We can hold your parts and finished stock at Bideford and deliver it as you call it off.

Are you quality accredited?

Yes. We are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and every repeat job runs to a written work instruction.

Where do you deliver?

Our own fleet covers the South West every weekday, and we deliver to the rest of the UK by carrier.
