Pallet wrap — also known as stretch film — is the go-to solution for securing unitised loads during transit and storage. For high-volume operations, machine stretch film is available in a range of widths and micron ratings that deliver tight, consistent wraps in a fraction of the time.
Micron rating matters. Lighter loads under 250kg are comfortably secured with 15 micron cast film, while heavier or irregular pallets may need 20–30 micron cast or blown film for added puncture resistance. Blown film is tougher and better suited to awkward or sharp-cornered loads; cast film is quieter to unwind and offers better clarity — useful when barcode labels need to remain visible through the wrap. Coloured pallet wrap is also stocked for security, load identification, and colour-coding by product type or delivery route.
Pre-stretched film is pre-elongated during manufacture, meaning you apply less material per pallet while still achieving a firm, secure hold — reducing film consumption and lowering cost per pallet wrapped. For smaller items, display bundling, or retail multipacks, mini stretch film with a hand dispenser provides the same versatility at a compact scale.
