Propeller crates, long slatted crates, heat-treated dunnage and heavy pallets, made in Bideford, Devon, for yards and marine engineers in the UK and abroad.
Last reviewed 31 October 2026
Devon has a long marine industry and we have packed for it for years. Our marine packaging covers propellers, shafts, marine energy and composite parts and boat equipment: crates built to each item’s diameter and weight, long slatted crates over 3 metres, heat-treated dunnage for packing inside containers, and heavy pallets. Everything solid timber is stamped FC0542 so it can go to a yard anywhere in the world.

| Packaging | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Propeller crates | Built to the propeller’s diameter and weight, with divisions so more than one can travel in a crate |
| Long slatted crates | Shafts, rudders and long marine parts, over 3 m long, with four-way entry |
| Heavy-duty pallets | 2400 x 1200 and bespoke sizes, heat treated and stamped |
| Heat-treated dunnage | Stamped timber in 2.4 m and 3 m lengths for blocking and bracing inside containers |
| Plywood and OSB crates | Closed crates for equipment that needs keeping dry and clean |
| Foam and wrap | Foam roll and protective wrap for finished surfaces |
